Please ensure your child attends school regularly and arrives on time, if you have any difficulties please let us know, we will help if we possibly can.

In KS2 children who attend everyday receive 5 house points.
In KS1 children are rewarded with special stickers.  Well done to all regular attenders.   The class in KS2 with best attendance has first choice of the Golden Time activities as we feel good attendance should be rewarded.

Encouraging Good Behaviour

If your child misses 'Golden Time' it is because their behaviour has not been acceptable for a particular reason.  If your child misses 'Golden Time' you will receive a letter telling you the reasons why.  Please discuss those reasons with your child.  If your child misses 'Golden Time' three times I will invite you to a meeting to discuss the strategies that will be employed at school and consequences you may consider at home.

The County Council have engaged a new company called Everbridge to forward messages about all Hertfordshire school closures.  To register on this system please click the link: - it is necessary to close the school at any point we will use Everbridge, our own website and text messaging.  Please ensure that we have your correct mobile and email address at all times.

The link above will direct you to the “Sign Up” page where you should click on the “Sign Up” button located at the top right hand side of the page on the grey strip and from there follow the instructions.  It should take no more than 5 minutes to register and you can edit your information at any time should you change your mobile number or email address.

Each contact can have 2 devices added for each communication type if you wish to – this means that in addition to adding your own mobile number and email address, you could include the mobile number and email address of a partner or grandparent in you registration process.  They too would then receive any messages in relation to the school’s closure.  Alternatively, interested parties could register themselves separately.

If a parent/guardian has children at more than one school they can register for those schools too in a single registration process by selecting all schools they have children at.
